Bella's Mittens

The pattern for my version of Bella's Mittens is now posted on Ravelry! Here are the deets:

Inspired by the movie Twilight, these mittens feature a long, stretchy arm that easily accomodates thick sweater sleeves. The textured palm mimics the original and provides extra warmth—perfect for snow, steering wheels, and the occasional vampire handshake.

Materials:
  • US 9 circular needles
  • cable needle
  • stitch holder
  • 1 skein Malabrigo worsted weight yarn (210 yds/100 g)

  1. Hello!
I recently came across your pattern on Ravelry and look forward to knitting it. I was wondering though what cast-on method you used for it, as it looks like a tubular cast-on despite the non-ribbed section leading into the cables. Would really appreciate your input here. Thanks!
